"Goodbye Japan,
hello Europe"

โ”โ”โ”โ”

ย ย  TODAY MARKS THE FIRST DAY you begin your study in Europe. You had just moved into your fathers old apartment, your first time living all alone as a Freshmen in University. While your parents could not follow you to Europe, you did carry one family member with you.

That was your furry companion Yuki. A pure white Siberian husky with striking blue eyes. Your parents had allowed you to study abroad only if you brought along a companion that could protect you. You refused to hire any bodyguards and decided to just adopt a dog. It wasn't what your parents would have wanted but since your stay in Europe was only supposed to be for half a semester, they agreed on it.

You slowly blinked your eyes open, wincing slightly as the bright early-morning sunrise cascading into your room uninvitingly. You tossed your body over so your back was facing the window, releasing an annoyed sigh.

"Get up!" An annoying voice screeched from the other side of the door following with two loud knocks. Heavy footsteps approached your bed.

You groaned, pulling a pillow over your head. "Shut up you old man."

"Old?" The man hissed in utter disbelief. This was his first time meeting you, it came as a shock to him how the daughter of some aristocrat group in Japan was so rude. "I'm only a few years older than you!"

"I can't believe your father contacted me directly to help you get settled here." He added.

You shot out of bed upon hearing the mention of your father. "Ackerman?" You rubbed your eyes before taking a look at the man. Suddenly your expectations dropped, this was the Ackerman boy? This short-stack?

"Levi Ackerman you brat." He kicked the foot of your bed causing it to rumble. "It's a quarter till seven o' clock, so I suggest you get moving before I forcefully drag you out of bed."

You felt a small laugh coming up your throat. In order to suppress it you cleared your throat, giving the man a short nod. "Yes sir!" You swung your legs over the side of your bed and stood up giving him a salute.

Levi was displeased with the gesture and simply ignored you, making his way out of your room.

"Tough crowd.." You muttered softly under your breath.

Today you decided to wear something casual. Simple. First, you slid on a pair of black sheer stockings along with a black tweed skirt. After that you decided to go along with a cream colored turtle neck, tucking it into the skirt. On top of that you put on a light gray cardigan. For jewelry you went with diamond studs and a silver Swarovski bracelet you had been given by your late grandmother.

"You damn dog!" Plates crashed onto the floor as the Ackermans voice bounced off each wall.

You rushed to the kitchen and nearly bursted out into a fit of laughter. Levi laid helplessly on the floor as the husky towered over him, licking his face ever so affectionately.

"Call your damn dog Y/N!" He grunted, attempting to push the dogs face away from his.

"Yuki heel!" Your voice was stern and went deeper as you shouted the command. He was quick to follow your command, sitting down beside you, tail wagging with anticipation.

Levi shot a small glare at the dog, brushing off the hairs off his double-breasted coat. "I was going to prepare a meal for you before we go but it's too late for that." He grasped onto the corner of the counter and heaved himself off the tiled floor.

You sighed, rubbing the dogs ears. "You should be ashamed Yuki. Pouncing on a guest like that."

"Ah forget it." Levi grabbed the car keys off the table and shoved it inside his pockets. "Let's leave now or we'll encounter some nasty traffic."

"Alright my little angel, promise to be good for mommy!" You patted the his head before dashing out the door behind Levi.

ย ย  The drive to the Private University didn't feel very long. Probably because Levi was driving so recklessly down the highway, driving as if he was the law itself. Just as you would've expected, he owned a car that was imported from Japan that was modified to exceed over unimaginable speed limits. He was loaded since he had been under the care of his uncle for a while now.

"Don't rub the bottom of your shoe against the glove compartment you brat!" He quickly smacked your ankle causing you to sit up in your chair.

You scoffed out of disbelief. "Man, Ackermans are a different breed."

"I'm not going to bow down to you as others would." Levi gripped the steering wheel, keeping his eyes on the road. "Just because you're the Princess of the L/N family does not mean a thing to me."

Levi had finally parked his vehicle in the parking lot in front of the Rose campus. He pulled out his key and twirled it around his finger, giving you a dull stare. "The door isn't going to open itself."

You rolled your eyes before kicking the door open. Fortunately no one was parked beside his car. "I'm not a moron."

You tossed your backpack over your shoulder and quietly followed Levi towards the main building. Students were eyeing you as if you were an animal inside a zoo, not because of anything bad. They were just curious. An unfamiliar face so close to the feared Ackerman? It was rare.

Occasionally you'd lift up your gaze to meet others but in return they'd just immediately turn away. It was discomforting.

"LEEEEVIIII!" A loud feminine voice echoed across the campus.

"Shut the fuck up four-eyes!" Levi shouted in return stomping his foot on the floor.

You peeked over his shoulder and widened your eyes. A tall lady with glasses was quickly hurdling towards the two of you.

"Y/N you might want to step aside." He grabbed your shoulder and shoved you aside, nearly making you trip over your own foot.

Your body continued to fall forward as you lost balance. Just as soon as you were about to hit the ground, a strong pair of hands pulled you back up.

"Hey Jean! You'll end up spraining the poor girls wrist!" Multiple footsteps approached your position.

You lifted your gaze from the floor and nearly screamed in shock at the sight of so many faces. Luckily you were able to cork that urge away. You pulled your wrist away from the strangers grasp and sat on the floor.

A soft sweet angelic voice spoke amongst the group. "She must be shocked! Everyone step back!" She put her arm up as a boarder as she crouched in front of you with concern evident in her elegant blue hues. "Are you alright?"

You could've sworn there was a blinding light that illuminated her beautiful features. From her beautiful blonde hair to her god-like smile.

"You're not hurt are you?" She surveyed your wrist.

You calmly shook your head, your eyes unable to leave her stunning features. "Not at all..."

"If anything she should be thanking this handsome face." The boy with the long face huffed, running his fingers along the side of his head, attempting to show off his marvelous jaw line. However, you were not phased in the slightest bit.

"Jean you look like a horse, shut the fuck up." The brunette playfully slapped his friends back.

"My name is Historia Reiss. What about you?" The blonde girl smiled at you with kindness glowing in her eyes.

"Y/N L/N.." The corners of your lips curved up forming a small smile. "It just makes sense that you're this gorgeous. You're a Princess!"

A soft red hue appeared on her pale cheeks as she waved her hand out of embarrassment. "You're calling me gorgeous? Look at yourself! Your family name is well known throughout the kingdom. Your family specializes in making tea sets, correct?"

You nodded. "That's correct! I'm so honored to be attending the same University as you Princess."

"Call me Historia, the formalities make me a tad bit uncomfortable. Especially on school grounds." Historia grabbed your shoulders, slowly pulling you off the ground.

"My Historia is so precious! Helping out a newbie." A taller brunette with freckles snaked her arms around her shoulders. "Marry me once we graduate, hm?"

"Ymir! Stop that." She brushed her arm off her shoulders and looped her arm around yours, dragging you away from the group.

Historia flicked up her wrist to look at her watch and flinched as soon as she read the time. Her first class was about to begin and it was all the way across campus. "Ah! I lost track of time!" She looked at you with apologetic eyes before letting go of your arm.

"Let's go Reiner, Ymir, and Bertholdt! Our class is about to start!" She rounded up the group before bolting off.

Historia Reiss. Never did you imagine you'd meet her so soon. You weren't here for business yet you still wanted to meet her during your time there. Now that was crossed off your list of things to do in Europe.

"Hey newbie, shorty over there tell us you have German Literature as your first class." That same arrogant voice pierced through your ear drums.

You turned on the balls of your feet and looked at him with a bored expression. "What about it?"

"We have the same class at this very moment." A smug smile crept up on his face. It was obvious he was trying to flaunt his 'handsome' looks but you weren't buying it. Looks meant nothing if the person acted this obnoxious about their own face.

A male student, just about his height with freckles on his face peered over his shoulders with an innocent smile on his face. "Y/N wasn't it?"

You reached up to grab Jean's shoulders and pushed him aside to get a better look at the new face. His innocent features made your heart skip a beat, not only that but the way he looked at you with such soft eyes. You replied with a simple nod.

"Jean and I can show you to your first class since we share the same class." He adjusted his bag over his shoulders, grabbing the boy with the ash-brown hair. "Right Jean?"

Jean released a loud yawn, stretching his arms up into the air. "I guess she can follow us. Hopefully you won't fall for me by looking at this sick undercut." He flipped the short strands of hair behind his neck to reveal the cut.

"Gross.." You shuttered at the thought of falling for someone with his ego.

"G-gross?" His smug expression faltered.

Marco pointed towards the building in front of them. "That's the building we'll be heading to, so follow my lead as it could get crowded during these hours. Mkay? Ready Jean?"

Jean quickly inflated back to his regular self, one corner of his lips tugging upwards to a grin. "Sure."

Starting today, you were a student at the most well-known Private University in Europe. You had already met the Princess of the Reiss family so you were ecstatic to be there. But there was also this boy who would bother you non-stop with his narcissistic personality.

It was distasteful to carry such good looks and have such an inflated ego. After all, he was the lone son of the Kirstein family. He must've grown up with so much love and attention all to himself. Undivided attention to further boost that ego.

Marco Bott. The sweet eldest son of the Bott family. He grew up as a selfless little boy who would always give everything to his little brother. He was highly intelligent as well, earning his family a fortune just by participating in competitions around the world. The Bott family was wealthy, specializing in medicine.

Jean and Marco were best friends with opposite personalities. The saying "opposites attract" definitely defined their friendship.

These months were going to fly by quick so you wanted to get to know everyone well before your time was up.
